Cash Cash - “Party in Your Bedroom”

I called this years ago, but dance music is the new “mainstream emo.”  This is why bands like Metro Station are getting huge.  One of the better examples of this is Cash Cash (who actually is touring with Metro Station… hm), who’s best song, “Party in Your Bedroom,” uses a pretty well-placed vocoder, 80s synth lines, and a simple melody in the chorus to state its case.  It sounds like the pop-punk bands I used to listen to in high school and early college, trading in the heavy guitars for more synthesizers.
