My ex-girlfriend just got sentenced on Friday to 5 years in federal prison for identity theft, fraud, conspiracy… and the list goes on.  While she was always pretty terrible to me and my friends (I’d say a good 80-90% of the time I was dating her), I did genuinely love her to death… so I still feel upset/weird/uncomfortable with the fact that she has to go through this.  But I guess this is what happens when you ruin people’s lives — both financially and otherwise.

Also, she cheated on me repeatedly; including with her new boyfriend, whom she was caught committing these crimes with (he’s being sentenced on Tuesday).  And I mean, you always want something comically bad to happen to your ex’s; something almost innocuous, like slipping and falling into a puddle or something.  Federal prison though… that’s a whole other level.

…It does still hurt to think about, but at least I got some good songs out of it.
