Tonedeff - “Round ‘Em Up”

I tossed up a link a couple of weeks ago to the top hip-hop tracks that sampled a video game.  This is one of those tracks.  I’ve attached the video as well, so you can see where the sample actually came from (it’s level 2-1 from Kid Icarus for the NES).

I, like so many other people, absolutely love Tonedeff’s flow.  Check out that speed!  He is indisputably one of the fastest rappers I’ve ever heard.  And the way they remixed that NES music and changed it into such a catchy backbeat… after listening to this track, I can’t help but hear the rapping over it, heh.  It’s hard to believe Tone doesn’t like this one.
