Kemuri - “Ato Ichinen”

I stumbled upon this band in my library today.  I used to listen to this stuff heavily in high school, no joke.  Kemuri was a Japanese ska band that broke up around last year.  They played incredibly upbeat music in both Japanese and English, with lyrics centered around what they called “PMA” (Positive Mental Attitude).  I showed people this band back in the day when I wanted to elicit a laugh, because listening to bands from other countries wasn’t as cool back in the late 90’s/early 00’s.

Anyway, the buildup of the intro in this song is pretty excellent — and from there, the energy never stops.  Very good for a summer drive (even though summer’s ending).
