Band news from the front lines:
One of my bands, Venice Sunlight, has a couple of shows coming up in the next few weeks. We don’t suck, so if you’re around, I encourage you to check us out. Especially if you like what our brand of balls-to-the-wall-pop-rock.
- The Apple Store - Menlo Park Mall, Edison, NJ
- w/ Jet Lag Gemini (Doghouse Records)
- FREE (it’s a store, dude)
- 9pm-ish
- The Rotunda - 4012 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA
- w/ Shayne Wagman, Reno Subject, Movable Type, Mercy Blue
- $5 (50 dimes!)
- the show is @ 7:30, but I have no clue when we’re on
My other band, Warren, is just finishing up recording The Electric Kiss EP, a four-song smorgasbord of vaguely-dancy-rock goodness, this weekend. After this we may have some shows. We also don’t suck, but the audio quality of our songs on our MySpace do (as of right now, anyway). Also: we started a Tumblr to chronicle our idiocy during recording/practice/shows/random fun trips, which shall be unveiled in the next month or so.
So, just in case anyone cared what my vocals sound like (I do lead vox and keys in Venice Sunlight, and 1/2 lead vox, guitar, and keys in Warren), there you have it.
