Guster - “The Captain”

I feel like this is another band that never really got (or gets) as many props as they should.  Because really, who doesn’t mind alt-country-folk-pop action every now and then?  I mean, I feel like I’m the only person I know that knew that they came out with a album relatively recently.  I digress: the best part of this song is probably the simplicity of the vocal melody.  It’s easy to remember after just one listen.  That’s the kind of thing I strive for sometimes.  I dig, for sure.
