Venice Sunlight - “Mirror, Mirror”

So one of my bands is playing a show at the Championship Bar in Trenton tonight.  It’s our first real show, I guess you could say; so in celebration, I decided to post our “single,” or whatever you’d call it.

We decided to write our version of a pop song about the superficiality of the average music fan.  It was inspired my guitarist’s (Dave’s) experience at a Cartel show — watching Gatsby’s American Dream take the stage, he overheard two girls basically say the band was only good because the lead singer was attractive.  NICE.

I’m rambling; in any case, if you’re in the area tonight, swing by and say hi!  I’m the lead vocalist, so I have to pretend people like me anyway.
