Spoon - “Don’t You Evah”

Spoon is, hands down, one of my all-time favorite bands.  Last year (and the past couple of years, actually) this band has generated a ridiculous amount of buzz.  Rightfully so; Britt Daniel’s voice is one of the most unique you’ll hear, and his writing style is such that you’d just know when something sounds like “a Spoon song.”  That Stranger Than Fiction soundtrack?  That was all Britt Daniel, baby (mostly using songs from Spoon’s Kill the Moonlight and Gimme Fiction).

Anyway, not to be long-winded here, but this song finds its way to my ears constantly.  It’s insanely catchy, remarkably simple in its structure, yet subtly complex in its layers.  Plus, did I mention its actually a cover?  I always thought that was kind of cool.  Sweet.
