The Receiving End of Sirens - “The Salesman, the Husband, the Lover (Acoustic)”

TREOS is one of those bands that could lose an integral member (Casey Crescenzo, now of the Dear Hunter) and still manage to come out with an effing AMAZING album.  The Earth Sings Mi Fa Mi is a great record by itself (and an even better “headphone record”), and this B-side is testament to this band’s ability to truly convey emotions through music.  I mean, nevermind the lyrics; check the sheer ambience of this track, and tell me it doesn’t just feel like a song about divorce.  For serious.  One of my favorites by them.
