I demand confirmation.

Mechanically, healing is equal parts timing, anticipation, and spell selection. Philosophically, Healing is about good, quick judgements with a little bit of planning. I agree with the gist of this, but I’m kind of hesitant to describe the role as uniquely ‘artistic’ or ‘rhythmic’. Every class ‘flows’ if you’re being challenged and meeting that challenge - I feel like this is often ascribed to healing because the decisions you have to make are often more situational and less ‘objective’ than other roles.

If the “rotation,” as it were, was actually very rhythmic, it probably assumes that every encounter was going about 100% optimally, because then you would assume a specific rhythm to follow for each one.
(Admittedly this is a bit simplistic, but I don’t think it’s too far removed from the truth.)
