Something that probably should've been posted on...
But is still interesting (at least to me): Most of the bands I like — especially the more “chaotic” or “weird” ones — play about 2-3 clicks faster live than on their records.  For people that’ve ever played music to a metronome, that’s NOTICEABLY faster. Maybe I just like the extra energy?  Or the spastic nature of performing?  Who knows.
