The greatest thing we’ve done here yet at my department is successfully get Goldeneye to work on our personal machines.
It’s pretty much all over now, yeah.

The Beatles - “The End”
Something I never knew for some reason about this track: Each 2-bar guitar solo before the bridge comes in (“And in the end…”) has a different Beatle playing on it. The order is Paul (clean, string bending, poppy), George (slightly distorted, quicker fretwork) and John (really overdriven, more rhythmic).
It’s actually really interesting to hear the difference in musical influence, and I think it gives a better understanding as to why there was so much creative tension amongst the members.
Bummer, even though I’m hopeful it’s not THAT big of a deal.
